ThamesWey has completed its first housing development containing swift bricks. The 12 swifts bricks have been incorporated into two new family sized affordable homes which have been handed over to Woking Borough Council.

From April 1st 2014 the installation of Loft Insulation & Cavity Wall Insulation can be up to 100% funded* under the Energy Companies Obligation Scheme (ECO). This offer is applicable to all home owners and private tenants.
Thameswey was set up in 1999 to further Woking Borough Council’s energy and environmental objectives and to enable other local authorities, private companies and social enterprises to participate in schemes which provide energy efficiency and reduce their environmental impact.
ThamesWey recently welcomed a delegation of Israeli Mayors, local authority officers, company CEO’s and Vice Presidents who were on a tour of European cities to learn more about innovative local energy solutions, led by ICLEI (Local Governments for Sustainability) in co-ordination with the Covenant of Mayors.
