Creating Sustainable Communities

We work alongside Woking Borough Council to facilitate delivery of their Woking 2050 Sustainability Strategy, which involves running projects with a number of local businesses and community groups to help them become more sustainable.

These projects cover a variety of sustainability topics, such as:

• biodiversity through the Swifts in Woking project,
• domestic energy efficiency through Action Surrey,
• commercial energy efficiency through the Business Energy Smart and LED grant projects,
• waste reduction through the single-use plastic free Market Walk project,
• renewable electricity in solar PV and battery storage trials, and
• improving the sustainability of our own assets including housing, development and energy.
