The workshop will be one in a series to be delivered in the project’s target countries: Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Poland, United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden and Finland. The workshops are aimed primarily at local political decision-makers who guide the climate and energy work and/or urban planning strategy of the municipality, and technical staff working in the district cooling systems, buildings and energy sectors.

This workshop aims to ensure exchange and knowledge-sharing on topics such as the economic feasibility of district cooling projects, recommendations and experiences on how to make pre-feasibility and feasibility studies and funding opportunities for district heating and cooling to meet the challenges of growing energy need in UK and Europe.
