Action Surrey is looking for homeowners to take part in the Surrey Green Homes weekend 17 – 18 May. We are looking for inspiring homeowners across Surrey who are willing to open their doors to the public, to share their knowledge and experience about making their own homes more energy efficient and ecologically sustainable.

So if you have made low carbon improvements to your home such as fitting solar panels, solid wall insulation and draught-proofing – then please get in touch with us! It is entirely up to you when you open your property either on 17th or 18th May, or both; you can also decide your opening hours. Tours can be pre-booked or, if you prefer, you can allow people to simply drop in and ask questions. You decide. Action Surrey will support you all the way and ensure your event is a great success.

Surrey Green Homes is part of a national event called Green Open Homes which is a national network supporting low carbon open homes events across the country. It is funded by the Department of Energy and Climate Change, and delivered by the Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) in partnership with Bristol Green Doors. There will be a dedicated website to advertise the event http://www.greenopenhomes.net/ and further information is available here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZunS6RNtj4#t=341

To express your interest in and to participate in Surrey Green Homes, or to get further information please email angela@three-sixtymarketing.com or call Action Surrey on 0800 783 2503. Please confirm by 17th March EXTENDED DEADLINE and then we can send you a homeowners pack.
