Over the past four years, ThamesWey Housing has delivered one of Surrey’s largest collections of new, purpose‑built rental homes, transforming part of the Sheerwater estate into a modern, mixed‑tenure neighbourhood. Across every development, homes are built to a high specification and offered at a range of rent levels, reflecting ThamesWey’s long‑term commitment to the area and its residents.
Fairfax Place, Murray Place & Murray Green
The first phase, launched in 2021, introduced two apartment buildings with EPC B‑rated homes, a shared podium garden, secure parking, EV charging and bicycle storage — all connected to the district heat network. Murray Green completed the cluster with ten spacious three‑bedroom townhouses, split between full market and social‑equivalent rents.
New Woodlands
Opened in 2023, New Woodlands provides 68 discounted‑rent homes for residents aged 60+, offering accessible, well‑managed independent‑living accommodation with communal spaces shaped by the community.
Guild Lodge
Launched in 2024, Guild Lodge delivered seven rare split‑level rental homes above new retail space, each with vaulted living areas, balconies and generous two‑storey layouts.
Merchant House, Pine Grove & The Reeds
Merchant House added 39 high‑specification apartments above commercial space, all connected to the district heat network. Pine Grove introduced a quiet mews of ten two‑storey houses with private terraces and parking. The Reeds delivered 77 EPC A‑rated family homes beside the Basingstoke Canal, each with air‑source heat pumps, solar PV, private gardens and EV charging.
Yellow Phase
The largest development, Yellow Phase, launched in 2024 with 187 apartments across affordable and full market rent tenures. A substantial private podium garden sits at its centre, with secure underground parking, EV charging and dedicated bicycle storage below.
