ThamesWey has completed this landmark Woking town centre residential development.

Planning permission to commence Harrington Place, ThamesWey’s first town centre residential development, was granted on the 22 December 2017.

The consent allowed the construction of 147 self-contained flats (84x one bed, 57x two bed & 6x three bed) and 493 sqm of commercial floorspace for potential A1, A3 and D2 use plus basement car parking level within a 7-13 storey ‘mansion block style’ apartment building.

The new building has been constructed of high quality traditional grey brick with large glazing elements and bronze coloured detailing and is located at the top of White Rose Lane next to the Travel Lodge and Woking Station. The location is highly sustainable, as is the construction, allowing easy access to the station for an easy commute and the town centre amenities of Woking with its cultural, leisure and retail offers.

Our contractor Galliford Try completed construction in February 2020 and the site was handed over to ThamesWey with the new properties released straight onto the market for rent.
