2014 was a landmark year for Action Surrey with us helping over 1,000 homes across the county to install energy efficiency improvements since the Green Deal was launched in April 2013, as well as providing residents with helpful impartial energy advice from our team of advisors. This has led to warmer, healthier homes and substantial energy bill savings (over £4.5 million ‘lifetime’ fuel bill savings across Surrey). The year also marked the launch of the ‘Streets Ahead’ project, which through funding from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), is assisting Surrey residents living in non-cavity wall properties to insulate their homes.
As we move into 2015, why not make a New Year’s Resolution to improve your home’s energy efficiency and save money on your energy bills? Make the most of Action Surrey’s advice and support and access funding for a range of energy efficiency measures including:
Cavity Wall and Loft Insulation:
- Up to 100% funding available through the Energy Companies Obligation (ECO) – find out more here.
Solid Wall Insulation:
- Through Action Surrey’s ‘Streets Ahead’ project, grants of £3,500 are available for 600 Surrey residents who install solid wall insulation – find out more here.
Boilers and other measures
