Action Surrey, on behalf of Thameswey Sustainable Communities, is offering a grant of up to 1/3 of the installation costs (up to £4000) towards an upgrade to LED lighting in community buildings within Woking Borough.
The benefits of LED lighting include:
- More attractive, higher quality lighting
- Longer lasting and lower maintenance
- Better for the environment

To be eligible for this grant, the building must fulfill the criteria as set out in our guidance for applicants.
Applications must be received by 29 August 2017. If successful, you will have a 90-day fundraising period to raise the remaining balance for the cost of the install, to which Action Surrey can help by setting up a Just Giving crowd-funding page and providing fund raising support. The grant will be paid directly to the installer once an install date is booked, who will then deduct the grant amount from the balance owed.
