Chief Operating Officer
Mark is the Chief Operating Officer for the Thameswey Group having previously been a non-executive Director of most of the group companies. In addition to his role as C.O.O, Mark is also a Director at Woking Borough Council. Mark has an undergraduate honours degree in Biological Sciences (Birmingham), a post-graduate diploma in Environmental Health (Middlesex) and a Masters in Business Administration (Kingston). Mark is responsible for the whole group activity and staff but has a specific focus on the commercial expansion of the group and residential development.
Chief Financial Officer
Debbie is the Chief Financial Officer for the Thameswey group. Debbie has been working in the commercial service sector for over 20 years. Debbie qualified as an accountant in 2006, and has since completed a Post Graduate Degree in Leadership at Worcester University. Debbie is responsible for the financial performance within Thameswey Group and ensuring accurate robust financial reporting is managed for both corporate compliance and business support.
Sean is responsible for the day-to-day running of Thameswey’s energy businesses in Woking and Central Milton Keynes. This includes a total of approximately 10 MW of gas-fired CHP plant, district heating and private wire networks. Prior to joining Thameswey, Sean spent over twenty years in local authority planning services advising on sustainable development policy and practice, with an emphasis on climate change and energy planning.
Billing & Customer Services Manager
Michael has been working in accounts and customer support for both small and large international companies for over 14 years joining Thameswey in 2010. After starting out in the accounts department he was promoted in early 2013 to manage the billing and customer services for the energy businesses in Woking & Milton Keynes.
Customer Service Advisor
Lin joined Thameswey’s customer services team in 2013 and has responsibility for customer credit control. Prior to joining Thameswey Lin has extensive experience providing customer services and credit control within the mortgage and insurance sectors.
Customer Service Advisor
Costas has been with Thameswey Energy since 2007 in the customer service and billing department. Prior to joining Thameswey and since 1994, Costas worked as an energy efficiency advisor to householders for the Surrey and East Sussex Energy Efficiency Advice Centre.
Peter joined Thameswey after spending 12 years at a major property company based in the City, where he had a number of roles culminating in a commercial finance position. Peter qualified as a management accountant (CIMA) in 2011, has advanced level excel and enjoys surfing in his spare time.
Jolita is responsible for supporting the accounts function within the Thameswey Group finance department through the core functions of credit control and accounts payable to operate efficiently on a day to day basis, as well as assisting with quarter end tasks, VAT and CIS.
Project Manager - Action Surrey/Streets Ahead
Matthew has worked in various roles involving the environment and sustainability prior to joining Thameswey in 2014 as a Community Engagement Coordinator for Action Surrey’s ‘Streets Ahead’ Team.
Matthew Studied BSc in Geography at Swansea University and graduated with an upper class 2nd degree in 2011 before studying an MA in Regional and Environmental Policy at Aberystwyth University, Graduating with a merit grade in 2013.
From April 2015 Matthew became Project Manager for the ‘Streets Ahead’ project, where funding has been allocated by the Department of Energy and Climate Change’s (DECC’s) Green Deal Communities fund to improve the energy efficiency of properties across Surrey.
Project Officer- Action Surrey
Sara is responsible for delivery of a number of Action Surrey projects including the Healthy Homes programme . Sara Specialises in developing cross-sector initiatives aimed at tackling fuel poverty and energy efficiency improvements for vulnerable people.
LCC Project Officer
John works within the Action Surrey team to deliver the Low Carbon Communities project. Low Carbon Communities (LCC) is a three year programme aiming to support community action on energy advice and behaviour change through the development of a network of local residents, community groups, volunteers and business across Surrey.
Prior to joining Thameswey, John worked for a year with an established sustainable energy charity delivering energy efficiency advice to households in the South West. This followed a period in Costa Rica as a volunteer coordinator for a nature conservation charity working to engage local communities in aspects of sustainability. He has a 1st class BSc(Hons) in Environmental Studies with the Open University, and City & Guilds level 3 Awards in both Energy Awareness and Renewable Energy in the Home.
Linda has a long and extensive background in the Customer Care industry and was the Global Customer Care manager for many years with a large Software company.
In 2014, Linda joined Thameswey as the Administration Officer for Streets Ahead and is responsible for managing the administration of the £2.5 million budget allocated to this project.
Linda now looks after the admin needs of the Thameswey Group.
TMSL General Manager
Mark is responsible for the day-to-day running of Thameswey Maintenance Services Limited in Woking and Central Milton Keynes. this covers CHP and commercial Gas contracts for its clients. Mark comes from a Military background with retraining in the Electrical industry and Building maintenance. Previous roles include an M&E manager for a national provider and Technical Services Manager working in partnership with the University of Reading.
Steve Boucher EngTech TMIET
Steve is responsible for management of operation and maintenance, for the Thameswey Central Milton Keynes 6MWe combined heat and power station.
He is the Senior Authorised Person responsible for Thameswey Central Milton Keynes High Voltage electrical generation and distribution systems.
He has over 15 years’ experience in renewable power generation and distribution, and has been with Thameswey Group since 2007. Prior to this appointment Steve worked in renewable power generation within the landfill gas industry, and also served in the Royal Air Force as an Aircraft Engineer.
Ben is responsible for overseeing the engineering and project managing upgrades, improvement and expansion works to the various Thameswey energy schemes in Woking and Milton Keynes.
His background is in mechanical engineering and he provides consultancy input for our public and private sector clients. He has over eight years experience in the low-carbon energy and sustainability consultancy sector, working with District Heating, CHP, Biomass Gasification and Fuel Cell systems. He has previously worked in the manufacturing sector for inverter/motor and generator systems and for engine dynamometer systems.
Head of Residential Services
Ian has been involved with Thameswey since 2006 on a variety of housing projects providing technical support to the team. He became directly employed in Feb 2016 to focus on the management of our expanding and diverse housing portfolio.
His experience and qualifications has been gained via working as a private contractor and in technical roles with London Authorities and Woking Borough Council spanning across the building industry from a trade background through to Building Surveying and Asset Management.
