Company Policy

As part of the drive for openness and transparency, the Group has developed this area to bring together new and existing information to enable members of the public to research answers to their questions and help drive down costs.

We have achieved a key milestone in the Government’s challenge for councils and their associated companies to provide greater disclosure of our activities online. The latest information is the publication of details of all payments for goods and services.

Spending data

The Government’s guidance on publishing spending data requires all Local Authorities to publish their spending data in monthly files, starting in January 2011, and for these files to be in CSV (comma-separated values) file format. The content and layout of each file is also prescribed in the guidance.

We have also decided to publish details of ALL payments (not just those over the £500 limit suggested by the Government) and to provide additional copies of the files in PDF file format, which are generally easier for the casual reader to use.

The monthly files in CSV format are available here.

The PDF copies are available here.

If you have any comments, suggestions or questions on the information in these files, please complete our contact form here.
